** Please expand the description box for itinerary & music details** www.instagram.com/timandglo November 23-25, 2015 Our next babymoon destination was the island of Koh Phi Phi! We took a ferry from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi and booked our tickets online. We used phuketferry.com for the booking and paid 996.84 baht for two tickets on a ferry that was scheduled to depart Phuket's Rassada Pier at 11:00 am and arrive at Koh Phi Phi's Tonsai Pier at 12:30 pm. In reality, we did not arrive in Koh Phi Phi until 1:30 pm. And we learned that other passengers on the same ferry had paid less for a slower ferry. The company simply put everyone on a single slow ferry, which was very dishonorable. We wrote to phuketferry.com to complain and received a 100% refund. It's important to note that phuketferry.com does not operate its own vessels but is only a third party booking agent. We ended up taking a ferry operated by Chao Koh, which we unfortunately do not recommend. The condition of the vessel was poor and the staff were unprofessional. Even though we arrived in Koh Phi Phi behind schedule, we're thankful we made it safely. As soon as we arrived at Tonsai Pier, we found our hotel representative who ushered us to a long tail boat for the 10-minute water transfer to the hotel. We stayed the next two nights at Phi Phi The Beach Resort, which is located on Long Beach. We booked a Deluxe Villa - Sea View room, and the view was truly stunning! We loved the floor-to-ceiling windows and quiet balcony. The wonderful view meant our room was high atop a hill, but fortunately the hotel provides free shuttles to and from your room. Everything else about the resort - amenities, service, food - was mediocre to subpar. November 24th was our only full day on Koh Phi Phi, and we took advantage by renting a private long tail boat for four hours. We went snorkeling at Phi Phi Lay, Maya Bay, and Shark Point and visited Monkey Beach. We booked the tour through our hotel the same morning for 1,800 baht. We could have also stopped off at Maya Beach - made famous by the Leonardo DiCaprio movie The Beach - but we decided not to because it was so crowded. There are so many other islands and beaches in the area. We definitely could have stayed for a couple more days! Thank you for watching!!
