But you can actually equalise without holding your nose, the only real problem with this mask is that it has a larger than normal volume of air and when you are 5+ meters alot of air will be required to not get your eyes pulled out of their socket, but this is not a probelm for most people whom buy this product as they don't go past 5 meters deep.
"my friend from Germany.." me: in head friends with benefits LOL
Two things:
1. The sizing I have is direct from the manufacturer as they fitted the mask for me.
2. When you say, no hair is going in the sealed area am I to understand you want me to shave my beard off?
Take the correct size for you. Put the mask on dry land, and see if the mask is fogging. It should not fog if the right size is there. If it fogs, take smaller size. Your head is not for the XL size. The area around the mouth should not allow air from the breathing to go to the vision area. If it does, need a smaller size. Do you think the manufacturers willingly will be selling mask that fog? I don't think so. Make sure the bottom of the mask is under your chin. Make sure no hair is going inside the sealed area. Adjust the bands like a serious man, not just flapping them and go dive. it takes time to adjust the correct mask position at the beginning. Like goggles, you dont just put them on, you adjust them to the shape of your eyes and skull before swimming.
