Our Family and I had the Pleasure of visiting this wonderful park in Cancun. It was fun to swim with bunch of fish and record them with Intova sport pro HD camera. Had a close encounter with barracuda but i did not know it at that time. Silly tourists. Хель-Ха -- это экологический парк. Вход в него платный. Этот парк имеет лишь «естественные» развлечения. WHAT how did that barracuda not attack U, U were inches away and it just moved along I could have sworn I saw someone wearing red and it did nothing! A lady on Cancun I met showed me scars from a Cuda attack when she was 14! Your lucky

I guess I was just lucky that day. There were no signs that this lagoon had predatory fish. I've never heard of Cuda before until my co-worker told me that I could of lost some fingers. That's tourists for you.

I did get your point that they don't attack people if they are not provoked. Someone I work with told me that I was lucky that it didn't bite my finger off. As far as attacking people, they have a mind of their own. They can attack humans when something shiny is on you. 8 out of 10 times they won't attack.

No,No and No to Cudas attacking people. If you try to grab him chances are very high you wont be able to hold onto him. They wont outright attack you! Thats ridiculous thinking. You could swim in a school of them with no concern whatsoever.

It was our first time swimming in such a park where you can come across different types of fish. We did not see any warning labels that warned us of predatory fish that could be in the water. My first encounter with barracuda and I had no idea that they can attack people. I guess "silver bullet" only attacks shiny objects. Everything went well and we are looking forward to visiting this Aqua park again.

That place is sweet. Was there in 2012. But it is just south of Akumal in between Akumal and Tulum. Not Cancun.

I just adore how who ever is filming this was reaching out to GRAB A BARRACUDA! You're just lucky you didn't get a hold of it...or you would have lost a finger, if not worse! Just Wikipedia the barracuda to see how lucky you were. It would teach you not to grab at living things.

We are one of those tourists who go into a swamp without knowing whats in it. i had no idea that i was chasing a barracuda. it looked like any other fish in the pond. My friend from Mexico told me the same thing, that i was lucky that i had nothing shiny on me or else my finger would made a good snack.
Next time i will be more careful and read signs posted in the park.

the fish variety is pretty poor. swim in the see - you would see a lot more. do not carry your money to the commercial adventure parks who destroy natural environment.
