Hey everyone, I finally got freediving fins!! should of brought neoprene socks though my ankles were really sore afterwards! The visibility wasn't that great today but just wanted to test the fins out :) Enjoy!! Are long fins really better for diving now? I grew up using Rocket Fins. Good propulsion, but very heavy.

Depends on what your needs are? I find even a Stratos or Mares too long for agile turning...

Is that the Mares Concorde fins? How do you like them for freediving? Im thinking about buying them for my fiance because they can be bought in small sizes. Also is that the Mares Viper mask? How do you like that one im thinking about buying that one for my self ;) got the Mares Star Elite mask at the moment but want an ever smaller volume mask :)

What are your thoughts on using free diving fins to find fishing lures and river treasures? Or should I just use regular fins?

DIVEALIVE I tested in recently when I was at a pool when snowboarding in Michigan. I have been reading at experienced free divers can hold for up to 4 mins. However, my time of 75 second will decrease dramatically as I get more tired.

Dillon Evans Dillon Evans wow you can hold it for a long time have you been practicing? it depends if I'm constantly swimming or resting on the bottom so it always changes especially if I'm tired or not :)

DIVEALIVE I just bought like 90 dollar free diving find that are like 30 inches long. How long can you hold your breath for underwater? I timed myself at like 75 seconds

Dillon Evans probably best to get free diving fins as they get you down quicker so you can spend more time underwater searching for them :)
