One thing I was wondering is does this mask make you float and harder to go down cause of the air or are they like normal snorkels and don't make a diferent

Hi how r you? You coming to Portugal? Cool! The water is getting cold now, In october starts Autumn here,Lisbon and Algarve are cool,and yes Setubal is on the coast its 40 kilometres from Lisbon, i wont you visit Troia ? Its here in Setubal , it has many miles of white sandy beach here,but im not so sure if water is hot to go for a swim now.

Hi! Turns out I will be in Portugal in October.... looks like the water gets kinda cold by that time, is that right? I will be traveling to Lisbon and hoping to get to the Algarve Coast... Looks like Setubal is on the coast? Is that right?... Any suggestions what to do in Portugal? I love to swim and snorkel but if the water is cold in October... not sure I can handle it!

when you are underwater the breathing tube gets blocked , no water will get in!
and you only can exale underwater like FreeDivers,. if you want to stay deep and enjoy the view like i always do for a time... you have to hold your breath ! i advice you to use diving fins(medium size) like i do. cause the mask forces you to go up like the life jacket system,if you dont use diving fins its hard to stay deep. everytime i use tribord i like to go underwater 2 meters and not at the surface (Normally) , but let me tell you that this mask was not made for diving, only snorkel ;),but i use to dive like i tell before

Thanks so much for the kind comments! Yep I love my Easybreath too. OMG dolphins? Wow. I have yet to snorkel with dolphins but I hope it happens one day. That sounds amazing. I hope to also visit Portugal one day. I will put snorkeling in Setubal on my wanderlust list!

I will use it right here in my city! we have country,ocean and river by my city. I Live in Setubal ( Portugal) ,In river Sado we have crystal clear waters and dolphins family .everytime i go to beach i snorkel with EasyBreath! First time i use it here in River Sado i stayed 2 hours straight in the water :) ;) and i went out of the water cause i felt hungry :)
By the way i enjoyed very much your video about EasyBreath , my mask size is M/L.

I just bought one of these and it makes a snorting/snoring sound when I breathe! Is that normal??

Regina Y Make sure the mask is sealed properly on the edges around your face. The mask may be too big or too small. Mine only makes that sound when it is not adjusted right. With a previous mask from another brand, it made that sound a lot because I had the wrong size and didnt fit my face well. It also was leaking in water because of this so I ended up returning it. Tribord has a few different sizes. Measure distance from nose to chin to see what size is best for your face. I left a comment to someone else below of size chart.

I bought the easy breathe, same mask as in your video but in pink/orange. When the snorkle gets wet, the snorkel isn't as loud but less than a minute later, it starts making the snorting sound again. And it's loud too! I'm guessing this isn't normal?

Regina Y Did you get the easybreath mask or another brand? I do have that sound happen from time to time but not a lot. Make sure when you put the mask on that you put it tightly to your face on the edges. That helps some. I had a previous mask for another brand that did not fit my face as well and it make that sound a lot so it may be the wrong size too. Let me know if that helps.

Jonathan Thomas you can breath normally with the mask on and see underwater. (As long as you are not diving under. If you dive, you will have to come up for air) Very easy to use. Let me know how your experience is with your mask once you try it. Have fun!

Laura Cooper Water does not enter most of the time but yes very little water can enter, but the mask is designed to let water out the valve at the bottom and it has pockets designed inside that keeps the water away from your face so you dont take in water when you breath and you dont even notice the water. Basically, the small amount that may enter is not noticable. Have you been snorkeling with the traditional mask before? If so, you may notice water also gets in to the snorkel and you blow you out with your mouthpiece. With the full face tribord mask, you dont need to blow out the water because it flows out the bottom valve.

Nuts In Puss I was at Hanauma in October and it is too hot for a wet suit, you definitely dont need one. The water is great temp and so fun in Hanauma, you will love it. Glad you found this video helpful! I have a Hanauma Bay video on my channel also and it was taken in October.

P Taushick There was a boat race going on that day so lots of traffic and movement in the water. This is in front of the Hilton Waikiki. Not a snorkeling spot but I was just demonstrating the gear. People mostly swim, relax and boogie board here.

cisco_boss modz Water does not get in, but in some cases if you have for instance a large wave comes over the snorkle, or you submerge your head under water, water can come in from the snorkel up top. It will just be some water and the lining in the mask will keep it away from your face so you can still breath fine. It will also slowly drain out the valve at the bottom of the mask. I showed the valve in the video. If you want to get any extra water out faster, lift head up out of ocean and let the water drain out the bottom.... Hope that helps.

+Marcus Mills lol yes the camera man is great!.. well I liked the Tribord better after trying them out more. One reason is it fit my face more comfortably. The other one pressed slightly against bridge of my nose which got uncomfortable. But a bigger size may have fixed that. Hope that makes sense. Secondly, I think Tribord brand lets in less water. Where do you plan to snorkel and which other masks are you considering?

I did not have any whistling noises and it was easy breathing with it even more so than with a traditional snorkel mouth piece. I saw your review and perhaps the brand of face mask could be the issue? Also, are you used to snorkeling with a regular snorkel? The breathing technique is fairly similar and even easier with the full face mask since you dont have to use a separate mouth piece. Try another brand face mask to compare. The Tribord Easybreath is the one I used in the video and I recommend this one.
