"The Niño" (Part 1) A California Surfing Film

This winter season I dedicated myself to traveling up and down the California coast. My goal was to capture the best swells the North Pacific had to offer. It became apparent to me quite early that this was going to be a special season. A season with endless waves and great conditions. As the season progressed, so did the waves and California. The sun burned dry hills began to turn green eventually exploding into a sea of color as flowers bloomed. El Niño had brought waves but more importantly life back into our beautiful state. This movie is dedicated to "The Niño" for all the fruits of life you have blessed upon us.
