I grew up on all of these films, barefoot adventures etc... my dad put me on these films when I was young. Phill Edwards riding pipeline was legendary!!

I have to add all the yrs surfing Huntington Beach while visiting my sis or back up to San Francisco where of course the water temp is much,much colder and sometimes we never wore a wet suit!! The saltwater and everything we kids endured to be able to surf....i never caught a cold none of us did!! Sadly, today's kids are all always coming down sick! I wonder what kept all of us in Good Health. Maybe someone reading these may know. Enjoy the Films

Met Bruce at Giannini Jr. High School out in the Avenues in San Francisco where we all were able to see his newest film. He would set up his 16mm Projector, get his microphone in order than us kids would pay I think 50cents,75cents,The older guys a 1.00. I was all of 5'2' and lol in the 7th Grade. A yr later he was back up and us kid's were stoked as they said back in 63. THIS time Bruce had come up to our Jr. High Giannini and his newest film with coverage of Pedro Point 15miles South of the city. Some of us made it in his film. We all went crazy when Bruce came up. My friend one he'll of a surfer Mike Dunkin sitting right next to me was now 10 feet high up there on the silver screen!! Those day's are by all sadly missed. Bruce always put on a great evening of films and he was always Highly Professional!!!

At 1:14:38 The guy rides a plywood bellyboard on a huge Waimea bay wave, that's funny when you think that foam bodyboards where invented by tom Morey the next decade

What's with the 80s action music during the Sunset Beach segment? One of my favorite scenes along with the pipeline. There's no one out and its the same damn wave back then as it is today!
