Her Rip Curl beach house at Sunset Point sits just a stones throw away from the location for the second stop of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, a prestigious three-event contest series held every year on Oahu's North Shore. Alana and her friends Leila Hurst and Camille Brady cheer on a good friend from their home island of Kauai, Sebastien Zietz, as he competes to win the coveted Triple Crown title. in an interview she explains that many people in kauai (where shes from) wore them and she never realised most people DONT. after she realised not many people actually wear them she decided she was still going to wear them because she likes them and she isnt going to change. she likes them, theyre comfortable and they make almost everyones butt look good. why not wear one. i surf in cheekys and brazillians
