Thought: we know from the clip w/Thanos & Collector that Thanos definitely isn't cosmically aware YET, and the Mind Stone is with Vision...so doesn't it seem likely either Thanos (or perhaps Ebony Maw,) is able to penetrate Thor's mind during their boarding of the Asgardian ship (maybe Thanos isn't crushing Thor's skull, but rather somehow raping his mind)? Since Thor has 1) Met Dr. Strange 2) knows all the Avengers and 3) has even been to Wakanda and 4) helped create Vision, this could explain how Thanos moves with a purpose afterward (otherwise, he'd have a lot of fact-finding to do). Doesn't it seem likely Thanos exploits Thor's mind in some way?
Another theory (totally no evidence) is that Ebony Maw may serve as protection for Thanos before he gets the Mind Gem...particularly from Scarlet Witch. Seems to me, he'd be vulnerable to her during the Battle of Wakanda otherwise...

I am sure this Fox Disney deal was in talks long before official announcement. Working something like I mentioned would be an absolute megaton of a bomb in theaters.
All I am saying is that nothing is impossible.
It's possible that Fox trades characters with Disney.. Deadpool 2 is reshooting to add new characters, like surprises, maybe is Gambit or another X-force member or even Logan, but it's also possible an UCM (or Disney-Marvel character).

I just hope, if Fox Studios does lend the characters, the portion of profits due to Fox does not lead to notions of Fox Studios possibly being revitalized, subsequently refusing the sell of their Marvel character's film rights to Disney's Marvel.
I believe, since Fox Studios is actively producing Marvel films and shows, while the active sale of the same intellectual properties' rights, Fox Studios has lent the characters while in their possession and are finalizing the film rights with Disney.
