The Bonafide SS127 is arguably the hottest new kayak bass fishing platform on the market. How does it stack up in the surf though. In this video I head out on a fairly surfy day with Aliex from Aliex Fishing and we try out his new Bonafide SS127 in the surf off of Pompano Beach in sunny south Florida. The first attempt at a surf launch was a bust as the kayak pointed directly into the current and I bailed on it, opting to save my knees and sacrifice the seat of the SS127. Will be replacing that bad boy soon. Surfing the SS 127 proved to be a difficult task as I wasn't even able to get beyond the second wave.
