My scariest flight experience was from Indonesia to Singapore. We must have went through a storm and the turbalance was so bad it felt the plane would drop 2 feet every couple seconds. A lot of people were shaken up, my girlfriend cried.... This happened soon after the AirAsia plane crash from the exact same journey from Indonesia to Singapore...

Surfing is not for old people. I tried it in Rincon, Puerto Rico this past spring. When I was younger it would've been not problem. My legs were not in the shape they needed to be in. More squats for this guy.

+Tommaso Nastasi he is a film maker, he sold a show he made with his brother and some other people called "the neistat brothers" to HBO for 2 million dollars back in 2008, and it was aired in 2010. He currently does youtube as a job, and makes quite a lot of money from ad revenue since he gets so many views and his channel has really blown up. He also used to make advertisement branded videos for companies like nike and others before he became a daily vlogger, where he would get page a large sum to make a "viral video" for the company. He still does occasionally do branded deals with companies where he is probably paid closed to 6 figures for a video, like the one he did at the oscars for samsung. He believes the future of film making in this day and age is social media and youtube, it allows for challenging ones self to create something new and original each day and he loves the aspect of being able to instantly share and get feedback every day that he creates something and shares it to the world on youtube and his other social media platforms. He also runs a social media company called BEME.

Hey European People. You don't have to fly a lot to get updates, as long as you fly via the Star Alliance. You get miles for mobile phone contracts, news paprr subscriptions, starbucks beverages, literally every shit you can think of. Reached frequent traveller status last week without flying even once. :-P

Hey Casey, I don't know if you read all the comments, but still, I want to give a shout out and thank you for the inspiration to finally start moving forward on my dream of producing video (in some way shape or form – just no porn :-)

I still have yet to try to edit to a tune's rhythm, as an experiment. I wouldn't copy your style exactly, but I like the idea of editing on beat notes.

I started out about 2 months ago basically creating a service to help folks sell things on eBay and/or craigslist locally here [n Dallas. That's why I called it, "WeTellYouSell" ( .com) - but now local businesses are starting to get interested in having me put some creative stuff together, which actually really starts to become exciting.

Did a trippy video for Popstar Popsicles and this last weekend put something together for an artesian baking company that does beautiful work. The video starts out in deep space with epic "thoughtful space music." :-) I never like to do anything boring, if I can help it.

I would like to add to the answer, to the question, "Why does traveling feel so good?"

Part of the reason is because that in many cases, for many people, Travel is an excellent CHANGE OF ENVIRONMENT. This is actually a valid therapy, in many instances.

Part of what drags one down is not only the sameness of being in the same environment, day after day, but also that "triggers" build up over time, so that one's environment (even on a "good day") can actually be filled with triggers small and large relating back to unhappy times and painful moments in that same environment.

Okay… This is starting to be a Philosophical dissertation :-))

So be it…

So I'll continue…

In any event, changing one's environment – whether it be vacation or indeed even moving away from one's current residence and/or place of business can, certainly if one is being pestered by individuals or groups that suppress one In their creativity and/or their life in general, can be tremendously therapeutic.

It's almost always better to handle something than to run away from it. That said, there are times when simply changing one's environment can save one's sanity, if not their life.

Biggest piece of air travel advice: Wear full-toe, slip-on shoes like Vans or Loafers. 1. Full toe shoes and socks keeps you from getting god-knows-what on you in the airport (airports are filthy) and 2. SOOOOO much easier going through security.

I have to completely agree about traveling! I love flying! I've flown from O'Hare to LAX and back once. I've flown from O'Hare to Mexico City International Airport, and Midway to Providence, RI. I wish I could fly more but it just costs so much to as a college student! But a rather inexpensive and fun way to travel is by train! I grew up taking trains from Illinois to Texas and I've taken a train from Illinois to California on the Southwest Chief. Most of the time they only have movie cars for entertainment so I'm stuck to the enjoyment of looking out my own window but a few times they've had scenery cars one specifically on the Southwest Chief. It's just an amazing and phenomenal view and experience! You get to see such a wide variety of the country for a really minimal price. I think I can travel by train across half the country for under $200. Any flight that same distance would easily cost $215 to $300 or more.

I worked with an engineer in Huntington Beach, he would start his day surfing in the morning. Make it to the office at 9:00am. Take is lunch and hit the waves again. Dude was a surfing NUT.

Yeah, KEWR to WSSS used to be the longest flight until Singapore Airlines stopped using it. I think the all business class a340s weren't really doing much for it. Qantas now operates the worlds longest flight and Emirates are about to take it over.
