The 34-year-old laughed off the epic incident, which was caught on camera by Noah Cohen, Nate Lav and Kyler Vos. "Trying out a new move here, its called 'get smashed in the back of the head by the lip and dusted along the reef' it's so much fun, don't try it," he wrote, along with a photo of himself surfing with a wave approaching quickly behind. In a series of images, Hemsworth is pictured being pummeled into the ocean by the high-powered wave.' The Melbourne, Australia, native often shows off his affection for surfing on his social media accounts — particularly Instagram. He posted two shots from his most recent surfing expedition in Canada this week and has previously shared images of him with his family on the beach. The father of three posted an image of surfer Laura Enever on Monday and said he would see if his daughter would be interested in it in a few years. He has two daughters, India, 5, and Sasha, 4. His son Tristan is also 4. Hemsworth is married to model Elsa Pataky, whom he wed in 2010.
