Southern California has been having an exceptional late winter. On the 1st day of March, the surf forecast for LA, OC and San Diego predicted the biggest swell of the season. That was an understatement. This swell event turned out to be the biggest day in 30 years! Most surf spots were windy and maxed out, but a select few breaks had offshore/sideshore winds. The last shot was Hags on the big swell in early March 2013 I believe. It was even more packed as the day went on the swell got even bigger. It became real low tide and it was breaking 1/4 out. It had man sections with multiple take off zones. I saw one long boarder get one from almost the outside all the way in though most the sections.

I used to live 10 minutes from there, right by UTC mall. I live in Colorado now which is a cool place but I still miss San Diego so much..
