For a dedicated surfer, few things in life are more important than chasing the perfect waves. For Johnny this meant converting a van into an amazing tiny house on wheels which allows him to live and work full time, while traveling all over New Zealand in search of the best surf spots. Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/livingbig As an electrician, he has installed a full solar system, allowing him to be off-the-grid and ensure that his home has power wherever he goes. So amazing to see young people finding alternate lifestyles that don’t involve huge amounts of debt.
Well done.
He has what he wants in his van, he can get to work or to the beach. He works when HE wants to work. I'm seeing very little stress here.
(And he'll make money working now and can save it all without a mortgage or rent. Suppose mortgage is $1200- He saves that monthly for 20 years = $288,000. If invested in a Roth IRA or something, then you'd really be set for retirement).
Cheers
No disrespect meant , I’m just genuine curious about how relationship life goes when you choose this kind of freedom?
Hey Nessa. I totally agree with you.
