We only had 3 months but managed to fit in all the essentials of a SSR adventure. Epic Surf, Breathtaking inland Hikes to beautiful waterfalls, perfect anchorages and most importantly let the environment and culture change us for the better. This is the first half of this trip and we are stoked to be able to share it with friends old and new both onboard and via the internet. Hi we are in NZ doing much the same! I hold down a full time job on a ship and Liss had just finished her Nutritional Medicine studies so between that and running Roam and filling each day with adventure we don't have too much time to put into what it takes to make a YouTube video.

12:00 I've been stung four times (I surf a lot) by stingrays and it is the most painful fucking thing I have ever experienced in my life. Stingray venom is similar to rattlesnake venom and is fatal for some. Plus, big ones like that have a barb that's easily 4" long and could slice an artery. No way I would intentionally get near stingrays. You guys are crazy. Beautiful boat, though!
