Terrifyingly beautiful. I always imagined what it would be like to surf down the tube of a wave like this, and this is absolutely breathtaking! At around 2:11 I'd have started freaking out seeing that wall coming up next to me like that, holy crap.

+Jerj100 At regular speed it is about 50 seconds. Very roughly I would estimate 100 meters for every 10 seconds, so the ride is about 500 meters (although he's still gong at the end of the video). Call it 1/3 of a mile.

As with everything I see on the web, I question the validity of this footage. The hand position at 3.38 show the back of the hand which pivots the camera 180 degrees clockwise... this is impossible to so. Where IS the camera positioned in relation to Benji? Also the footage is very smooth, unlike most footage that comes from a moving uneven surf ride. Hmmmmmm
