For everyone asking how to stay on the ramp: Strafe up the ramp. If the ramp is sloped down to the right, hold A to strafe up the hill, to stay on it. I just started surfing recently and it's hard... going around corners in midair is very difficult and I'm still trying to "get good" (git gud).
