There is no doubt Kelly is THE GOAT!! It isn't even close. If Andy had lived longer and was more sober, there may have been a discussion, but alas...That said, that board looks kinda sluggish.

Everything about this video is insane. A small board like that on a wave Luke that and the fact that Kelly just had surgery on his foot and it’s not healed yet! So crazy. That board is insane though!! Look at the wake from the board. Look like a boat not a surfboard. Tomo is a genius.

at 1:10 stalls on the face so he can get tubed, then just races across the whole fricking wave and ends "too early".

He kicks out too early a couple of times, but other than that he is the ultimate flash. I love the way he's always off the lip or racing across the face. Your videos keep improving, each one better than the last. Please keep it up. I'm on dialysis ten hours a day and can't even go into the water anymore. I'll never lose interest in my sport. I'm just glad I'm alive. Many of my seventies surfing friends have already passed.

Yeah, Kelly is an unbelievably great surfer, but you can see he is far from his best in this video. But ankle/foot injuries can be very difficult to heal (and sometimes never do completely heal). Hope the best for him.

and part of rehab is slowly going back out. i understand millennials outlooks are different and usually need a service pet and a safe space to rehab, but OG's rehab and slowly get back out there.
