I've once had a surfing accident ,and what happened was I was feeling ambitious because I managed a few waves they weren't too big but they made me zoom off.For the record I was a noob then and I still am but from the thrill I suddenly thought I could conquer a seven foot wave. I paddled towards it, stood up ready, looked up and saw a more advanced surfer above me and as the wave hit me like a brick wall so did the realization that I couldn't do this. Due to the impact of me against the wave causing her to lose balance and fall down. The second thing I experienced was the end of a surf board hitting me on the shoulder hard because she fell on top of the her surf board like a hammer and chisel followed by herself crashing down on top of me leaving a scar

I have hurt myself surfing before. I was 8 and I had fallen of my board and the point of it poked me in the eye and it hurt like bad but now I am 12 and I can surf better than a long time ago. Now I have a better board and it's 4 fin and no tragedy

Well, I haven't gotten the chance to go surfing yet, but one time I went skimboarding in Florida and I must have cut both feet on oyster shells because I looked in the water and all I could see was pools of blood. I looked at my feet and chunks of flesh had torn off. I couldn't walk too much after that.

This episode coincides with the previous episode about Rhett's amazing dream. The paddle board might be his ferrari and the horse with the broken neck that Rhett and Link had to put out of its misery was Link's paddle board.

Also, the dad and son seeing them and taking a picture of them on the beach could be the scene where the old ranchers are yelling to one another that Rhett and Link are doing a morning talk show on the internet. I'm sure the other parents in the surf group are going to ask the dad and son who they are and what were they doing.

It was an uneventful night and i was a bit hungry post a light dinner so i got on to youtube to watch videos about different kinds of pizza. I stumbled upon a GMM video in which R&L were doing a blind pizza taste test, then i stumbled upon the 'will it pizza ?' episode and went on to watch all 'will it' episodes that night itself. Next night checked out a few other GMM as well as GMMmore episodes, found everything hilarious. Now I am a mythical beast waiting eagerly for season 10 while re-watching old episodes.

I've literallly had so many surfing injuries. I've been hit on the head by my board so many times. I've also got scars on my upper thighs from my fins. its an intense sport lol

I got a new wetsuit for my birthday and I went out early. Towards the end of my session I pearled(nosedived) and the board flew in the air and the fin hit me directly in the head and cut the top of my head.

Well my friend was swimming in the sea and he got hit in the face with someone else's surfing board. He got back on shore with a bleeding, broken nose. To this day, he still insists that his nose is crocked (it happened at least 5 years ago). It's ironic because he has like the straightest nose I've ever seen

While surfing in Hawaii, I fell off a wave, got smacked on the butt by my board, got dragged across a coral reef, and then got hit in the face by the same board. It all happened in about 10 seconds. My dad laughed at me.

I've nver hurt myself surfing sense I have never gone. But I did while boggie boarding. I did a tumble roll and I scraped up my sholder my back and some of my chin to. It was pretty painful.

During my first school surfing lesson, my best friend and I were surfing like half a meter away from each other. We caught the same wave fell at the same time, her board twocked me in the nose, and my board twocked her in the shin. I popped up and she was already above water and she said to me "You're bleeding...", I ran to shore with my board still attached to my ankle and it was so bad I needed to be bloody (no pun intended) hosed down because there was so my nose blood on my wet suit. You also couldn't touch my nose for like a week or my nose would start bleeding, and it was bruised hard out. But my friend was alright.

I once gave myself a nasty minor concussion (head hurt so much and i was really disorientated) once when i bailed off my board in Lanzarote, i protected my head but my board found a gap in my arms and smacked me right in the side of my head, had a bump for the next couple of days, got back in the water about an hour later though xD

Hey Rettt and link, I live in Puerto Rico and i am15 and i have been surfing for 5 years already and i only had one incident, that the fin of my board cut open the skin of my head. The first time I ever surfed was on a longboard my uncles made in the 60s. I fell off the front and the board hit me in the back of the neck. I was flexing my neck muscles at the time, trying to get above water, and somehow it just bounced off my neck without hurting me. Ever since then I'm scared of surfing.

I was facing a big wave when boogie boarding actually it was my first time and I just learnt how to boogie board. On my 4th round the wave was quite large for me. I was in position then the wave hit me hard pushing me down into the water where my cheek scraped against the sand. what triggered this was my position was off. all I could hear was my cousin yelling my name then pulling me out. I had a few scrapes on my face and the board stuck to my foot.

Yes I have injuried myself while actually bodyboarding! I live in Hawaii and the most popular beach is "Sandy Beach". I don't know if you guys had ever heard of the beach but rep is, that there are many currents. So I took a risk because previously I went to another beach called "Makapu'u" which is also known for ripcurls. I caught many waves and I was pretty confident so I was tough enough to say " Let's go to Sandy's!!!" I went to Sandy Beach and the tide wqs pretty high, maybe 8 - 12 on that day. But I caught 2 waves and I was like "Woah Dude!". So of course I felt the need to take another one but as I set myself up to ride the wave, my board slipped and I went over the "falls". Head first into the sand. I past out for a couple seconds then I couldn't breathe. I yelled for help but the weird thing is that I felt so out of breathe like it felt it was going to be the last time I ever lived. My friend helped me up and the lifeguard came to help me also. I didn't know what happened but my face felt numb.Little did I know my right side of my nose was all scratched up and a big cut on my lip. The lifeguard called the ambulance and they took me to the hospital. I was only with my friends and my parents didn't show up till the following night. The nurses helped me with my face and when the doctor had evaluated me, I had what was called "2nd degree face abrasion". I thought to myself, what the heck?! The doctor gave me a mirror and I could see everything. They also said that I needed a cane to walk for a couple weeks. I was supposed to stay there overnight but school was in session. So I manned up and said I'm going to school tommorow! So they discharged me and I was happy. Well at least ai was but I didn't know how my face felt about it. haha Thanks Rhett and Link if you did read this message please shout me out! Mahalo!

I've never been surfing but I have been roller blading and I was in the park with my friend and she was on her bike and then all of a sudden I started swerving. But I wasn't going too fast and then I swerved into my friends back wheel and crashed to the ground but on my side and skidded about a foot. My thigh was hurting ( not broken bone hurting but enough to be something that would bother me for a while) and there were these boys on a bench further along and they just BURST out laughing. They pointed and all, they just made it really obvious. And my friend was a tomboy so she had a right old go at them. :D I had a big scrape that went from a scrape to a bruise to a bump. It was embarrassing but I learnt not to get too confident and to pay attention. xD

I was in Costa Rica and accidentally fell in front of the board rather than behind it. As I was somersaulting into the water the wave pushed the board into my face and bruised the side of my face and gave me a black eye. Hurt pretty badly haha.

when I went surfing I went with my brother and a bunch of his friends, some of who had never surfed before and one of the friends jumped off the front of the board so it just went up and backwards super fast. Of course it goes straight for my face and I was pretty sure I'd end up looking like someone had blown up half of my face like a balloon. It wasn't bad though but probably because the board was a soft board, if it was fiber glass...that would have been bad.

OMG!!! when i was surfing i rode a wave in and then another wave came while i was picking up my board and the board slammed into my lip and pierced a hole through my lip!!! if it was big enough, i could have gotten a lip piercing! for free! :D

I know quite a bit n no duh but shark will mistake humans for their natural food and come up to shore and attack.......its life......I state fact and defend them but yes they will come to shore and attack but only bc they don't realize your human they think your a large fish or a seal and as they get closer they still won't realize ur human bc as they attack they roll their eyes inside out and use their nose to find u still thinking your their natural pray.

it is possible for sharks to come up that close....a great white shark, or any shark, can attack in ankle deep water.....but u and everyone else would have to not be paying any attention for it to bite...but yes a shark can enter 4 inch deep water....was it likely to happen......no.....but if a shark was close.....no one was paying attention.....and there was more blood....then there could of been a change.......

I fell off my board and my back landed straight on a rock it semi scratched and crack no broken bones but real painfull of and then I was tossed by a wave that just started to break I pearled and hit the bottom with my foot and the board went up and hit me in the head ps this is a fiberglass surf board it's not soft.

Not to long ago I went to Florida with my cousin. We went bookie boarding there. It's pretty much surfing on a tiny board on your stomach. But anyways, so there was HUGE waves and it was a red surf so I caught a big wave. Then it took me and flipped me onto shore where the top of my head slammed on the sand. Luckily no injuries because of the soft, powdery sand.

Surfing or paddle boarding in shallow water is not a good idea especially if it's a long fiber glass made ones. Because the board will nose dive if you are positioned to far forward on the board you have to keep your trim position even while riding the wave. I surf and I'm an 11 year old girl lol hope this helped...

I've never had a surfing accident but one time I was kayaking inthe ocean and my brother decided we should ride the kayak on the waves to the shore. When we hit the beach he immediately jumped out and I looked over to see a wave crashing on me. It flipped the kayak so it was on top of me and dragged me across a shell bed into the water. It was very painful.

While body boarding in Daytona, I was out pretty far, Idk a good 100 feet out, I was far, and I saw my little brother kinda start freaking out, screaming, kicking around and so I leave it because as a huge "opportunity wave" I see my mom going to get him. And my older brother is a few feet behind me, getting absolutely pummled by waves I see him look up at this wave and scream, it's a big wave, man, but that is not what he was yelling about. There is this massive 5 foot grey shadow start to like wiggle swim through the wave. SO me being me, I figure its a sand shadow so I get on my board, take in the wave, back to shore with my older brother paddling in behind me after the wave crashes, and I dive in to the shore, thinking there was water NOT FUCKING PACKED SAND. SO nevertheless I busting my lip. But it could have been worse because right as I got up from my sand dive (I'm really smart :P) I see a dorsal pop up out of the water, identifying it as a bullshark and one smaller dorsal fin pop up with it, which was what both my brothers were freaking out about.

SO end of story, I busted my lip, and almost was mauled by a shark.

I have “hurt" myself...I have had a Costco wave storm board and the fins are so sharp. I let it run aground in the shallows (while I was right next to it) and it ever so daintily ran over my foot and sliced it open....didn't even realize it till after I surfed with it for another 45 mins....B-)

My friend broke his nose at least 10 times, he broke his ribs a few times, he also broke a few boards. Once he actually drowned and survived. Water was coming out of his nose, ears and mouth all day, his skin looked kind of gray and he just went back into the water later the same day.

The first time I ever learned to stuff, we were in like 5 feet of water. I get how that was smart because we were new to the act of surfing, however, there were huge rocks covering the ocean floor and it was the most scary experience of my life. Not a great learning experience.

Each time they mentioned an accident happening I would jolt my upper body forward in shock and memory of extreme pain because I pretty much had all of those accidents happen to me except worse. For example, I was in a pool and forgot I was on the three foot deep side and dived through a hoop on the surface of the pool except I bashed my face into the pool floor which was concrete and I broke my nose, my lip was swollen and my nose was two times larger with dark red gashes everywhere. I once got knocked out from another surfboard. I was finally catching a green wave and was really happy when something bumped against the side of my head and the next thing I remember are the coastguards pulling me out of the shallow water in the sand. Really embarassing.
