Video of river surfers shredding on Brennan's Wave on the Clark Fork River in Missoula, Montana. Brennan's Wave is a popular river kayaking, surfing, and floating destination - right below Higgins Street bridge in Missoula. This video is of an early Summer surfing session, props to all of the shredders that I filmed here. It's truly amazing that ocean surfing isn't the only type of surfing anymore. Shops like Strongwater Mountain Surf Co in Missoula are making a solid living, selling custom fibercore foam, fiberglass, and epoxy surfboards to Montana's river adventurers. It's an awesome industry and I bet it's a blast on there on the wave! Right in the heart of downtown Missoula, MT flows the Clark Fork River (insert "A River Runs Through It" line here). There is easy access to the river from the trail systems, directly from iconic Caras Park, and more. Kayakers and surfers alike shred what's known as Brennan's Wave literally year round. I couldn't resist filming some of these talented river surfers on a nice, early Summer's day.
