At first thought this was just a novelty stunt. But it honestly looks pretty cool. if it was possible to boost the roll performance (ailerons/warping) so that you could actually shred, this could be something bitchin.

So the Surf Board needs to be hung from the hang strap. Pilot would still be safety harnessed in, but now the board and pilot would be one and glider would respond better in pitch and role.

Stewart midtoad huh ?! You'be never seen it? Surfing over coral reefs or big wave surfers use it. It's very , very common! There are specific surf helmets by the way.
