Yes you can, be t up the hill then down the hill walking distance is Macca's (Mackenzie's bay), and Tamarama which leads into Bronte. When it pump's, you get a lovely long left! Surfed it while I had the flu! i.e, it was so good, I had to surf it, albeit timing my runs to conserve energy, it was very therapeutic! Failing that, Maroubra or northern beaches are quite good. I have had better surf in Sydney than on the gold coast and I live on the gold coast!

My best spots are the reef at the left of main park of laguna beach facing the rock, theres literally no sand. or no way to get to it but swim from main or a little farther from main where theres like a place where people see the ocean that you park on a restaurant, on the left of that restaurant you can tell its reef bottom, laguna beach when its popping crystal cove where you should be able to see it coming from Huntington beach or toto beach, and thats about it, im unsure of how good the waves can get near san diego, if I ever were to live in california, my best bet is laguna beach. I would have to be a millionaire and a half, richer than living in front of pipeline and my main dinner would be taco bell every night the spot or beaches breaks im talking about are all behind that taco bell. My dream home like the dream dream home you got in front of pipe laguna a skateboard bomb hill or prefer to walk down the main hills, where theres a restaurant at the start of those hills, it reminds me of rincon really really bad. And when its offshore in laguna beach the wind has to go DOWN the hill, so its offshore are light breezes. My home literally would be main beach, and its so tiny laguna beach is so tiny if its beach side like no more than 40 houses to the top of the hill less than 40 houses to the top of the hill in a line, like 30 homes and your right at the beach in an incline, where its farther out back from the hills but my life would be a house between those three or four to 10 roads that lead straight to the pacific ocean. The spot im talking about you can spot it from a restaurant, last time I was there I seen two dudes ride until night time. Cold Iron balls of steel. Imagine how good it is when theres actual waves and in the morning. Perfection even when I was there, it was GLASSY as fuck and theres pictures that it can get super glassy there because of the shape of the area, and theres heavy localism it isn't toto huntingtoto beach or the wedge, theres definitely a santa cruz local vibe where you just have to live there to spot good swells and eyeball the best spots. Between santa cruz, LA wedge and the last of the last laguna or standing its like three entire surfing worlds one more chill than the rest, I think laguna is the most chill unknown what type of waves but I doubt there are fine, I expect san diego to be like a northern pascual or mexico only if its firing, like beach break. but the most chill, at the ocean is like a gazillion dollars to own a home. Like you must own something super expensive like a company n shit to drop 25 million on a home easily, or ball parking millions in mortgages for hutts small homes, like 2 beds two baths with garage anywhere near laguna or getting close to laguna everything is six figures or greater.

No Flipping Way
Many moons ago, SD,CA was home. We drove up to the wedge a few times, caught some epic barrels, but NEVER RODE LIKE THAT. That was unreal to watch and you guys make it look so easy. Righteous damn edits, killer soundtrack, and looking forward to the need CA episode. Well Done Gents!!

+70mjc One of my earliest childhood memories was flailing on a wave, wiping out and being rescued by a lifeguard. Maybe 3-5 years old.

I've surfed the East Coast from New Hampshire down to Florida. The West Coast from Half Moon Bay down into Mexico and beyond. Bells Beach in Oz. Asia, the Caribbean and Europe. I've even surfed the Great Lakes, nothing like a freshie. Wiped out nearly everywhere!! Hahahaha!!!! I must be horrible at this.

My last session, I wiped out badly. The pain was assuaged because my social security check just got deposited. Yup, pushing 70. 29 board quiver. Still surfing. Still having fun. Still wiping out!
