One of the local surfers / rescuers had the best safety idea with the added white gaffa tape, taped in stripes down both legs to resemble a sea snake, which sharks are reported to avoid at all costs. maybe they'll be instore this winter.

2nd guy knew there were sharks about, numerous shark sightings and beach closures, yea some people are just plain stupid. And in saying that, instead of government departments towing the whale carcass that was attracting sharks several kilometres out to sea they tow it to the local boat ramp with big sharks following it all the way, even taking bites out of it.
