If we're getting Fantastic Four movies down the line then wouldn't you assume that the Surfer would begin as the servant of Galactus as he ALWAYS has upon first appearance? Unless we see Galactus in this film as well I highly doubt Silver Surfer would show up at all at this point

If this is indeed true, my guess is that it'll probably be a mid-credits or post-credits scene, as with Captain Marvel, and that Kurt is probably a stand-in like Damion Poitier for Thanos in "The Avengers." Granted, I doubt this is actually going to happen, but if it did, I'd be EXTREMELY excited.

Being that silver surfer is a herold of galactus and that galactus potentially could be the next big threat I don't think it would make sense for them to put him in infinity war. I mean think about it, this has been building up ever since the the end of phase 1 if not sooner so why put in silver surfur? Do we really need a sneak peak at the upcoming stuff, like infinity war (the thing we've all been dreaming about for years) isn't good enough in itself and needs to hint at more future films? I don't care about seeing a new character. I want to see the awesome "conclusion" to everything we've seen building, I want to see the characters we've seen go through experiences and changes finally fight possibly their last fight. Thanos out of his chair! I mean this is stuff we'll see with or without a silver surfer cameo but still...I want to walk out of the theater with complete peace and thrill that "wow the avengers have completed their final battle, their main boss, the man behind all their struggle" not "yeah that was awesome! I wonder what's up with silver surfer?" I hope that makes sense

Silver Surfer will NOT appear in Avengers 3 OR 4. It's 100% bullshit. Kevin Feige did not even know the buyout was happening and found out like everyone else. The plan to acquire Fox by Disney happened in December 2017, around the time when Avengers 4 would conclude filming and enter post production. How could the man who runs the MCU include at the very last minute a character that he was not made aware would be included, isn't even theirs to use legally yet, and would require ample time for special effects, motion capture, etc. after the fact that the movie was done, in a movie that is already full of characters? Utterly wasteful to get excited over something that will never happen.

Failingpepper 11 It will be like Thanos Quest then Infinty Gauntlet. Two stories different but a on going story. This is a hiest movie the sequel will be a bigger story. This movie is not gonna be the heros beat Thanos the end sorry but there is a reason they shot these movies back to back. Back to the Future 2 and 3 was also shot like this.

I found Ronan boring and I didn't mind Quicksilver dying. Sure he was fun in Age of Ultron but his death made the final battle mean something and it gave it emotion. Pushed Scarlet Witch and was the casualty of the movie. I do wish they would've talked about him a little more after his death though rather than he died and they're over it.

+dogerboi If that 70 heroes thing is true, then they're probably the Wakandans and the superheroes all together charging at Thanos. I doubt they'd just throw in a bunch of random new heroes when the movie will already be crowded with characters as is.

black elvis This. Lol We've already been told that at some point between the two Avengers films there will be around 70 HEROES fighting in one big action scene. Between the Marvel films released to date, we don't have 70 heroes. So it's obvious there will be several heroes that we haven't seen yet coming to the screen, no matter small of an appearance. Meaning some buy outs and negotiations happened to get to this huge number of heroes that there's currently a BIG deficit in at the moment. Fiege has shown us the love he has Marvel, so there's probably going to be a lot of characters that were relevant to the IW story in the comics as well, at least as many as he could get, despite changes from the comics to the MCU. So there might be truth to a lot of these rumors of characters, especially if they were relevant to the story in the comics.

But you gotta love how everyone who didn't work on the film can say they have 100% certainty on the film. Lol

Just because MCU doesn't "own" the character doesn't mean they can't use. I recall that Quicksilver was used in AoU and then in X-Men: Apocalypse.

black elvis No. It's 100% bullshit. Kevin Feige did not even know the buyout was happening and found out like everyone else. The plan to acquire Fox by Disney happened in December 2017, around the time when Avengers 4 would conclude filming and enter post production. How could the man who runs the MCU include at the very last minute a character that he was not made aware would be included, isn't even theirs to use legally, and would require ample time for special effects, motion capture, etc. in a movie that is already full of characters?
