brandon matthews If you look at the description you will see that I didn't make the song, I just surfed. I agree that the original is great but also massively overused in surf clips so I thought this remix was a nice compromise for a bit of originality. If you have any constructive things to say about the surfing I'll be happy to hear it.

Yea some of this footage is from February. It's all from between January-May, so the apparent "off-season" for the south shore. The locals are like locals anywhere, show them respect and they will show it back tenfold.

yohan I'm not sure that's true, mostly every surfer I've talked to has said they've seen sharks they usually just don't fuck with them. I think im gonna get a sharkbanz or something like that and try to go out there. I don't know if they actually work, but it'll at least give me some peace of mind

+Yohan Wards same with me when I saw that tiger I was like I think that thing wouldn't attack me and there have been no attacks on the east coast since 1916 but whenever you go out there's always that memory in the back of your mind that tells you to worry about sharks

I've seen sharks in the water with me in Hawaii (BIG tiger) and all over aussie (Tigers on the east and a small great white on the west coast). In that respect I've been unlucky, most people will go their whole life never seeing a shark. But obviously I've never been attacked or seen an attack so I count it as lucky that I got to see them up close, it actually took a lot of that irrational fear away :)

It's actually a good metre or 2 deep, it's just an illusion that it's shallow because of the clarity of the water!

Loved it from the beginning to the end... Great way of filming and the choice of music is absolutely perfect! I only get to surf about once a year on summer holidays so videos like this one just make me feel like I'm actually surfing. Great stuff! :)
