@Hicktown125 I took a one hour surf lesson and from then I was able to go out surfing with other people just fine. Just make sure you stick to beginner spots like Puena Pt.

oahu is fucking great minus the fact if you go to the west side of the island you have to drive through parts where all the native homeless mother fuckers are. it was funny as hell seeing the tent cities the homeless fuckers live in. i wish a tsunami would wipe them the fuck out.

I grew up on the North Shore. (64-68) (70-76). Lived next to Ehukai Beach Park. Lots of fun back then. Knew Laird Hamilton when he was 10. :)

must blow falling! i went to sandys and mukapu'u and when the wave crashed right on me. oh man i was a rag doll just getting thrown around with more power than you would belive. i was truly under for almost minutes at a time, and getting out to the waves is a mission

What's the name of the spot at 3:33? It's not far from Turtle Bay. I was there just last week! Waves were around 8 - 10 ft that day. Got killed everytime haha, i'm still beginner, I know how to stand up and turn but i've never surfed a board shorter than 9ft. Biggest wave I managed to surf without wiping out was 6ft, that was at Waikiki. By the way, theres this sweet little town not far from northshore and they have an awesome sandwich stand called Storto's Deli, it kicks subway's ass!

north shore on kauai isn't the greatest surf spot. and about half of the north/west kauai coast in inaccessible to humans except by helicopter.

who are the kooks in this video? Santa Cruz is the best. We have waves that are surfable 350 days of the year. No flat spells people. And less crowds. Ur right.
