can anyone explain it to me...

Hope this makes sense (& that it's right?!).I have no problem laterally finding the peak. I either have the wave go under me or I nosedive because I'm too close to shore.
If you could show the difference between 2-3 and 3-5 foot days, that would be great too.

but well, we can call him a kook cook, he is cooking sometn right now, lets go back enjoy some of his magic ..then we surf.
It would be helpful to have more photos and even video clips demonstrating these. Any chance of an update including that?
Or do I have it wrong but I look for the peak or the pocket as the wave is behind me and direction it is going to break (basically seems opposite of what is displayed.) Ever since I saw this I have been feeling more confused in the water... If the wave peaks highest on either side I go the opposite because to me the wave will break in that direction: ie peak tallest to left (looking behind my shoulder) it's a right.
