I'm not a person who usually writes something under videos on Youtube, but after reading some comments I lost faith in humanity. I don't understand why you guys have to try to be so badass and show off. It's ok that you surf, it's ok that people make mistakes, it's okay that there are new people who want to learn how to surf and clearly are not as good as you claim to be (I don't think u r all John John Florence out there). If u get angry for such little things let me tell you that you have some problems and you should go talk with somebody who could give you help.
Being that I know how fucking internet works, I know that you'll try to say "u made mistakes, learn English better blablabla" (it's not my mother tongue btw). And yeah, I'm waiting for the angry folks to insult me. I'm gonna grab some popcorns.

Half agree with you, yes there is no point of fighting over one wave but dropping on a guy barreling is extremely dangerous they can crash and these waves have sharp reefs underneath, also the problem with been ok with drops is that if you do nothing they'll keep doing it as if they are doing nothing wrong, I don't fight over a wave but I do speak up and try to educate the new generations, the 1st drop I'll give u a friendly warning the 2nd drop and you will have to see the barrels from the sand. if you want your own barrel you'll have to go deeper than me ;)

Btw, I'm not justifying those who dropped in on the guy getting barreled. It would annoy everyone. I'm just saying that there's too much rage around. People do shit all the time and beginners are everywhere (and they probably don't understand the rules of surfing yet), so what's the use of raging etc? But that's my point of view and I am a very very calm person. I prefer to let things go instead of quarreling and ruining the experience. That's it

Actually, I perfectly understand the rules of surfing. But still I can't understand such comments full of hatred. The thing I hate most about surfing (a sport that I love and I travel to practice) is all the people who get fucking angry for a wave. That's it. There are many different ways to express disappointment, and the majority of people use the most useless and stupid way :) Peace!

ScarletRoseLikeBlood I don't think you understand surfing then. as much as it's a retreat and it truly is for everyone, there are spoken and unspoken rules for it. A well spoken rule, is you don't fucking drop in on a guy getting barreled. you don't do it. And there's something to be said if you do it on mediocre waves in central california, but picture perfect glossy barrels? you don't fucking kook around there. you got people there who are there to surf.

HT's is the real deal. Was there in the 90's the first place we hit. The reef at the take off isn't called "surgeons table" for nothing and a great motivator not to eat shit. I got the wave of my trip at that place.
