i have an i ideia not expensive. Do you belive if it works? the ideia is this: in a lagoon. You cut a big rock in the format of triangle. Then you hoist (move to up) the rock with a car... 10 meters + or -... then cut the steel cable. The triangle rock will hatch in the water and a big wave will forming. But we will have a good wave if the format is a tringle

HAHAHA mate I've been surfing for almost 30 years and never had an issue with wax hurting my chest, but everyone is different I guess. At worst you'd wear a rash vest surfing in the Dubai heat for sun protection. Add to that its not like they're paddling much in any case. Lay down, catch a wave to shore, get out walk around the pool, jump back in rinse and repeat. They, like you need to harden the hell up fuck whit!

the future of surfing is looking good, these will soon be as common as skate parks or pools almost, already 2 in Australia, not that im a pussy but this is more about having fun and feeling relaxed in the surroundings, no fear of any thing like currents or any bullshit,would be really hard to die here lol and the water looks amazing and i bet its warm is fuck iswell, really good for when its flat or if your somewhere there isnt any surf or if you just want to have some fun, when i was a kid growing up surfing i always wished the was a wave pool like these

Lots of people have been (merely) bitten by sharks, but plenty of people have been actually eaten as well. A great white won't give a shit if your not the usual menu. A tiger shark might be a lot more tentative and give a few test nudges and bites before going for the main course. But where the fuck do people get the idea that if a shark bites that it's a case of mistaken identity? No mistake, it knows where it lives and what's edible. I don't normally eat sharks but have no problem if it's on the menu.

sharks attack when hungry, they think surfers are seals/dolphins which is why they attack. They are attacking to eat. They don't eat people because they usually don't feel right between their teeth. Also there are aquariums where you can swim with sharks and they say they feed them up so they are relaxed and don't attack. I live in SA, I grew up with friends getting their boards bitten in 3 pieces and crazy shark reports every summer... but not all sharks are white pointers either, so maybe we're both right just about different breeds of shark.

It is actually not that bad. I was on it a few months ago and one pump wasn't working so the middle sections wasnt working well but still good fun. And empty. The funny thing is its no where near Dubai! Its on the UAE boarder to Oman. And Oman actually has decent surf. Surf at night, they only allow decent sized waves at night. As for the water problem, they are close to the ocean.

I cant do any advanced manoeuvres at all, just link turns and I've gotten barrelled like 4 times on very small waves, and never made it out. That means i'm a VERY average surfer. And to get to that stage, its taken 2 years of surfing 4 or 5 times a week, But now i've got some tool who, as I said, clumsily stood up on a 1 foot wave once (same as I did the first time), saying that surfing is easy. Mate, if you think that's what surfing is, they your're the arrogant cunt.

To use your analogy, I cant ride a motorbike at 100 mph off a 30 foot ramp, all I can do is ride on the roads at normal speeds safely, go on freeways and go A to B. You on the other hand, you sat on a bike in a car park, rode it forward 10 feet, and now your telling everyone how you can ride and how easy it is. Show some fucking humility.

+M Zach Nah, you don't need to start young. I started at 26, i'm 30 now and righting short-boards, linking turns and getting the odd barrel (mid intermediate). But I surf 10+ hours a week. If you want to just be able to surf, like stand up consistently, you don't have to put THAT much time in, maybe go for 10-20 surfs a year, assuming you have the right board.

you talk about "self-respecting surfers" as if you surf. if you were a "self respecting surfer" you would realise how good these guys are and rather than bitching about them wearing a wetsuit (still surfing much better than you ever will) you're an idiot who probably sits trolling on youtube all day rather than actually learning how to surf (and if you consider yourself a surfer trimming a wave on a mini mal does not count) also the pool is only around 2 or 3 foot deep where it opens out

they are not surfing at night during this clip i'm sure they caught a lot more waves than is shown in that video. how do you know they aren't 1mm wetsuits? and lots of surfers wear shorties over rash vests its personal preference also if you are in a desert most would rather going into a cool pool, i also believe i know a lot more abut the subject than you. you are a troll trying to be smart although you probably know little of wave pool engineering nor surfing itself.

well the thing with being in a desert is the sun is very intense which leads to sunburn, if you are wearing a wetsuit with 100% uv protection then you wont get burnt all over your back and shoulders or have to worry about sun screen in places is difficult to put on, people need to use their brain before typing :/

The wetsuit keeps warm but also protects the skin while surfing. You can sometimes burn your skin against the board. This is why, I think he's wearing a wetsuit.

No, they're for the cold. Sometimes for protection from hitting the reef in shallow reef breaks, but that's kind of rare. In warm water nothing beats surfing in your trunks.

That isn't Dubai. It looks like one of the northern emirates. Its either Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah or Umm Al Quwain. All part of United Arab Emirates.
