That water will keep you under for minutes straight. So it is very easy to drown. Also if he falls that is extremely likely to happen. Also that much water slamming you? that could also kill you/knock you out.

When the wave gets to the beach it is not so dangerous. But i wouldn't swim on that beach, that's for sure. PS - Tsunamis are not always a huge wave, just for information. I saw a tsunami, on a video around here, that it was like a flood. The level of the water just rose.

A tsunami is a lot more powerful, they can have 10 miles of water behind them, but what happens if an earthquake occurs at the biggest wave beaches in the world at the same time, the waves would reach at least 200 feet, so far they have all happened in calm beaches.
