'86 at The Chance? That had to be amazing. The Chance was where I saw my first show: Suicidal Tendencies. It was also one of the most violent shows I have ever seen. Saw the same thing happen in circa 86 in Poughkeepsie. Some guy fell on stage mid song through the outside doors! He had no idea where he was. Gibby threw the guy at the audience and walked of after maybe 45 minutes, after starting two hours late.

You're right. Let me rephrase that, DXM is not a good experience with a wide range of people. Some people love it and get hooked. It is the only psychedelic besides ketamine, (another dissociative), that is incredibly addictive. My experience's were the Yin to the mushrooms high, the darkness of a LSD trip, and the soul sucking part of bad karma in an ayahuasca trip. However, I believe that ketamine would be quite different and more warm than the TOTAL ABYSS NON EXISTENCE LIFE OF THE DXM.

I guess everyone's different, but man, opiates are hard as fuck to quit if you get really hooked and use for a few years everyday. I did a lot of DXM in my day and I guess I did love it for awhile, but after sometime, I began to feel....well, stoopid ;)

Watching this song on LSD (I recommend most people avoid surfers on acid) rid me of a 2-year addiction DXM (though yes it is awesome if you're not one of those few poor fucks who get into it too much). I could quit IV opiates but not this shit completely fucking up my life. And now I am guaranteed to gag/vomit being near it. Surfers saved my ass, BIG time.
