The World Team claimed the inaugural Founders' Cup held at the Surf Ranch, in Leemore, Northern California. 24 perfect waves wrapping the city design all day everyday, every city. The future of a sane society.
While I certainly understand that wave-selection is, very much, a skill in surfing, in and of itself, and will always have it's place in other surfing contests, it still holds a great deal of luck in how it comes to pass etc.
In this setting, the surfers' skill is tested in very much equal wave conditions, and makes for very interesting comparison and competition, in it's own right.
The wave pool is absolutely fkn awesome too..!!..
