it's neither a question of "chance" when it deals with Red Bull (with their logistic they can go wherever they want in the world) nor a sake of history since Antartica has already been surfed in the past. And there is no fame or glory to find here in this kind of "ugly" waves. Ok it's cold, but that's all, and you can find other very good videos of surf in cold areas (Alaska, Canada, Russia, ...).
At least, from an ecological point of vue, this profusion of means for this crummy waves is a nonsense.
If I was given a chance to go to Antartica, i'd do snowboarding following Xavier De Le Rue footsteps or even i'd do snowkiting... ;)
they could have had a better experience in other cold areas in the world. This history is just a nonsense!

Ok but there wasn't even a good wave even tough it was in antartica, I didn't get the idea of "WOW great waves were surfed in Antartica", I just got "Cool surfing in antartica, ok next video"
i'm not trying to be a douche it's still a great video
