Kalleponken yes it does have a sequel called "Surf's Up 2: WaveMania" and WWE is involved. You're not the only one who lost faith in humanity and in Movies. I knew something was up and not right by watching the trailer. I had no idea there was going to be a sequel until the trailer. Plus it's direct-to-DVD so that saves us a trip to the theater at least. Oh yeah and the logo looks like shit too.

I love this movie so much. Not only was it funny, but it had a good amount of seriousness in it. It was done incredibly well. I haven't seen a surfer movie this good since 'Local Boys'. Both movies are just great. I love Chicken Joe so much!! <3 This is the type of movie that is so good you don't want it to end. Then when it is over, it makes you kinda sad. Or maybe that's just me... xP I wish I could surf! This movie makes it seem so fun and indescribly amazing. Really cool.

This movie should have been called "Surfs Up - The Office Style". This film totally steals the awkward humour and mockumentary nature of that show, to far lesser effect. Also the moral of this story is that people who try to win things are wankers - so you shouldn't try to win, just make sure your opponent loses. WTF? Pish. And that chicken is so fucking pointless, and James Woods is wasted.

Well for everyone who still doesn't know, Surf's Up lost its Oscar to Brad Bird's Ratatouille, but because it made it this far shows that Surf's Up is still a great film. Congrats Brad Bird. :)

There were actually 4 in the past 3 years. March of the penguins, Farce of the penguins, Happy feet, and Surf's Up. When they started pre-production 5 years ago, they didn't know about "happy feet" or any of the other films. Well Surf's Up has good reviews but bad timing for its Release, but ya Happy feet is one of the more popular ones. (not an angry comment by the way :P)

People! This film is not only for kids!!! Some of the parts in this film you need to be mature about, some you need to have a good cense of humor, and some you just need to be grown up to get. Rent it, get it, whatever, just go and see what I mean. :)
