What is the est. gross weight you have sitting on that stand? and do you have any drawings or pictures of it's internal framing? I built a 2'x2'x6' on top of my oak computer desk, which at the time of conception seam like a good idea. But after doing the math and finding out the H2O itself will top out at just under 1,500lbs. I'm starting to have cold sweats and have decided to reclaim the PC desk for...well my PC.

With intake and output both at the bottom you should seriously think about adding a wave maker to disturb the surface for gas exchange. Looks cool tho, rocks are a Malawi color

No sand is entering the intake(s). The video shows how i made them. Or do you like to know what glue i used?

Thanks a lot :) The Eheim 2180 is imho the best external filter because it does heat the water into the filter itself. At full power it's kinda noicy, but i use it at half power and the filter is located in the cabinet below sitting on some foam. The sound of water streaming does make more noise, but that's a kind of chill sound though.
