Mangrove jack in freshwater? In malaysia we have mangrove jacks only on saltwater area.

Andy, thank you for the videos. I have always been meaning to ask about the crocodiles, I know you have 2 types, the salties which are highly aggressive and the other type. How do you know when you are in crocodile waters?

Great video again Andy, like the bush exploring just as much the boat but my all time favourites are the catch and cooks.
Just a shame that you couldn't find one just big enough to take home.
I'm still trying and eating new fish, I did some cod in a curry the other day after leaving it marinade for a day in the sauce for 24 hours.
It was unbelievable.
So grateful for channels like yours and others like Steve over at Key West Kayak Fishing and Fisherman's Life because without all of you showing me these really delicious looking fish dishes and done so simply as well I don't think I'd have bothered even trying to get back into it.
I can't thank all of you enough, I'll be eternally grateful.
Looking forward to seeing another jungle adventure if the weather is still kicking up.

Andy hear is South Africa we use a homede gaff made from a strong 6/0 to 10/0 hook and a broom stick (make sure the hook is properly secured). Then we tie 4 to 6 strips of red bycycle or car tube strips about 8 to 12 cm around the hook. The way we hunt them is to move the gaff inside pools and likely hiding places and the idea is that the octapuss thinks its a crab and tries to catch it. Hope it helps.

Hi Andy, i do a lot of fishing in the swan river as i cant go very far without being old enough to drive a car so im trying to tick off the last fish i have to catch in that river, the flathead however im having trouble locating and catching them i know they like flat sand and like to ambush however i still cant seem to hook one and tips or other options i could try keeping in mind a teenager's budget
