You always said you wanted us to go hit the water, so here's a short story -- I haven't hit the water in 6 years man. Wasn't on purpose, just happened.. When I was fishing the bay heavy you guys were just coming out with some gear, I liked what you had and always hoped WB would succeed. Somehow one of your videos came up one day... a few videos later and I've got my license and ready to hit the bay soon.

So I'm glad you guys are still around, and growing, makes me super happy dude. And thanks for the inspiration. After 6 years one of videos gave me the itch.

Great vid, I’m telling you, you have to eat one of those Sculpin! They are so good. Filet them and then bread and fry them. Flour, whipped eggs, and then bread crumbs then fry in pan with olive oil- 2-3minutes a side. Once you have tried one you’re gonna start fishing for them more often lol

You get any other predatory fish there (eg cudas etc)?

Thanks! If other fish are around in the bay, they will bite, but right now the water is colder, the bite will pick up in the summer.

For saltwater bay fishing, I use MH to H rods. In fresh water I'll use Med for some applications. For calico bass, H to XH. Thanks!

I love the sculpin vids there such a cool fish, it's sick seeing you catch jumbo ones in the bay. I love the spottie vids just as much but I like how you include multiple species intentionally or not.

Glad to see the brush guard on the under spin! Love your swimbait heads with the brush guard! But I don't buy too many under spins because they don't have a guard. I was asking around last weekend at Fred Hall if anyone had one (sorry Bro even your competition)
But I'm glad you got that going!!

how exactly do you fish the jig? i've just gotten into fishing and do party boats but i'm not sure how to fish them, i've got shimano colt snipers and flat falls, i also want to get into soft plastics like in the underspin

Mainly a YoYo presentation. Let it hit the bottom, wind it up half way, let it fall to the bottom again. Most of the time, the fish will be in the lower half of the water column, so keep the lure in that zone. In summer, the fish will be in the upper half of the water column, then it's more of a cast and wind. Good luck!

Stoked to see another sick video, one thing i do in situations where there is a lot of wind while fishing off my yack is use a 3 to 5 gallon bucket as a drift anchor, slows the drift a little bit. Also Ive been wacking the sand bass on a 42 or 60 gram colt sniper rigged like a butterfly jig, super fun way to fish. Tight lines
