Idk if you will respond, but was wondering if you could help me? I've kept Shebunkins since I was 4, and now am moving on to Guppie Breeding. I figured out I would need 4 tanks, Adult male, Adult female, Guppy fry, and the breeding tank. I might even need 5 if I'm having an isolation tank. is there any way I can reduce the number of tanks I need? I don't wanna put male and females together cause I might have to many fry.

I use the smallest heater available on ebay or wherever you buy it from i don't think it matters about the brand at all as long as its the smallest heater you can get as the largest terrarium tub is only ten/twelve litre of water on ebay also ?? I bought interpet heater

MissHarleyQuinn i have had heaters in terrarium tubs for over a year with no problems, first i have heard of this i am not actually sure if it would crack! i'm sorry i cant be of any more help. i still have one set up with a single female in that has had a heater in it for over 17 months now and absolutely no problems with the terrarium tank no cracks no melting nothing !! Perhaps if your local pet store informed you of this they want you to spend more money on proper glass tanks. It all depends on how long you want this tank to be set up for : for a few batches of fry it's fine... for a couple of years well i am sure the fish would outgrow the tank and it would no longer be suitable.
If anyone else knows about this please comment any help welcome x

I've used a syphon in the past but now my tank is overloaded with plants. I find that netting them is best now. funny as they have no clue what it is. freeze for a moment with the net and they swim right in! And some babies do get caught up in the filters but all pond solutions have the EF with a smaller cage on the inlet. no babies get caught in this one but they do in the v2 power. x
