Those tanks are to small for those fish just got to Walmart and buy some fish bowls although I rather use and 10-20 gallon tank for each fish...and the water should be filtered the containers not big enough to have an filter

Please guys don't take this personal, but what you guys are doing with this fish is cruel, no fish is meant to be kept in such a small vase if you want them to live long, at least for the joy of your kids, you should buy them at least 5 gallons aquariums and a heater 24-28 degrees and a filter if you don't want to make big water changes. Also you should keep in mind that bettas are carnivores and do need special food (or thry will get sick and die if they aren't already) and not to forget special water parameters. PLEASE save them from this way too small vase and let them live a long and happy life.

It's Betta and not Beta yah none fish people. Do your research before you go buy a water pet. Just don't buy a pet to torture them even more just to happy your children only. It's just like you don't like it when a jerk being rude or mean to you, and you don't like it. It's the same with pets. You just can't love a bigger pet and pamper them. It goes for little pets as if you have bought them.

I love you Mimi but I'll be surprised if them fish live past a few weeks. Betas need space, a heater, and a filter which also keeps the water flowing so it's not stagnate. Small bowls like so is just setting yourself up for failure and disappointment.

This is not proper care for a betta AT ALL please, parents and kids watching DO NOT GO BUY A FISH BECAUSE OF THIS! I can promise it will die within a few days! ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH! I’ve owned five betta before and I can tell you the ones I didn’t know proper care for died within a month, the one with proper care lived for almost half a year!!!!(full life span)

Hopefully one day will come where more animal buyers on social media platforms become enlightened on the animal before posting misleading information. (Probably not since not everyone accepts even sincere, constructive criticism lol) Always before buying an animal, the purchaser should make the responsible decision to research the animal before purchasing. But betta lifespan can reach anywhere from 3-5 years in captivity. :) I've had some get incurable illness that cut their lives short, so it's good to also understand the illnesses of each individual animal and when you see it, to catch it and try to cure it. There's much to learn on them and some people unfortunately impulse buy pets. Hopefully she will chose to accept everyone's concern and update her fish to fishtanks. :)

That doesn't work for everyone most of he time the male will over breed the female stressing her out. Which can cause the male to ether get frustrated and kill the female or the female kills the male. Females and males can only be put together in grow out tanks.

I just bought 4 betas and you have to let the water sit for 24hours till it is room temp. And not to over fill the tank with to much stone. They need room to swim freely. When you put the drops in it has to sit... I love you channel but girl this is just wrong please do your research before you impulsively make the decision to take care of on of these fish. They will probably die or become very depressed even sick with the way they were treated in this video. If they aren't dead already.

This is literally terrible. Not only are you promoting terrible husbandry, but using animals to get views and to make yourself relevant. Love and hip hop didnt work out for you, and this definitely wont. You have enough money and time to do research and invest in a proper fish tank for these bettas. They are never meant to live in a vase, crowded with little bullshit and unicorns. Would you like to live in a cramped, tiny room for the rest of your life with no heat, filtration, etc. fuck no. You live like a queen so check that you can provide that to any animal you buy.

Fish need a filter and a Square tank circular tanks without filters make fish depressed.
Also since there is no top the fish will jump right out. Beta fish jump from puddle to puddle so they think they will land in more water but it will be the floor. Hope you consider getting better homes for the fish.

Those tanks are entirely too crowded , you have to put the water in, treat the water and then after 24hours add the fish. Those fish are gonna die, with the “tanks” you have them in. (Especially your daughter’s “tank”)
Also, never put multiple beta fish in the same “tank”, they must be separated or they will kill each other.

I don't know what room temperature is where you live but for most people is 70 degrees which is to low for bettas, they need 78-80 degrees water.

Actually it's two weeks or longer lol you're supposed to let the tank cycle before putting fish in, adding the water conditioner cleans the water and there is no way bacteria that they need can form in 24hr. That is why you have to let it cycle

Kawona Mccray because they are concerned the fish aren't going to survive. It's normal human decency what these people are doing (giving advice on how to take better care of her animals) and not to mention, I don't think the kids would be happy when their pets die, so what even is the problem with people giving advice? I personally haven't commented about how she should treat her fish but tbh if you saw someone locking up a kitten in a cage all day long and generally doing a few things the wrong way, you'd be tempted to give some advice on how to keep kittens.

Betas are amazing fish and so easy to take care of. Just never put them together. They will kill eachother. Also make sure you use room temperature water always and put the drops in the water to treat it as well before u put the fish in the vases. Also put there cups in the vases one you have them all set up and ready with the water. Keep them in the cup they came in floating in the vase so they can adapt to the water. About 20 min. Then pour them in the vase from their cup including the water they came with. Then u are good to go. Keep the water clean and don't put too much stuff in the vase because they need room to move around. If u don't treat the water they will die. Sorry just trying to help. They have drops that are cheap at Walmart. I used to rinse out my milk jug and fill it up with water. When I was ready to do a water change, I would then add the drops to the container and then fill the bowl or vase up. I remember it was 7-8 drops per gallon I think. Love y’all. Good luck with your new fishy’s.

I'm sure you mean well, but bettas cannot live in vases. They need a minimum of 3 gallons of water with a filter and heater. yes some bettas can survive in poor conditions, but they will be suffering the whole time.

Nicole Wallace I think u are right. I know the males are definitely the aggressive ones. I just use to always keep only one in the bowl just to be safe. Lol

Sharena King you can, where else do you think they’re going to live ..??? you just have to adjust the water depending on what kind of fish they are and what type of water they need, that’s what the drops are for
