LipLess crankbaits are amazing baits. I used to be the same i hated them until i caught a bunch of white bass in a school. I personally like the Rippin Rap by rapala, they cast for miles, make noise to attract fish and all you have to do is give it a small pop every once in awhile. Great for Walleyes too!

Lipless are a ton of fun ... try using 30# braid for your lipless ...its thin in diameter which is crucial in order to get the best action and its stout enough where if you get stuck you can usually retrieve your lures... I think you will be even more successful with lipless... dont be afraid to get it stuck in the weeds... in fact that's where they just dominate fish love killin it when you rip it free! ;)

Great lake in the winter head south towards the dam and find you a big cove to toss soinnerbaits lipless cranks and shaky heads. And they are shallow

Its a good place to fish. Used to do tournaments there. The cove with the power lines and the dam are the best from my experience. I use rattletrap every time out there

Been wanting to fish coffeen but haven't because I got a 150hp. Was it fine just trolling around? Also how is the water level on that lake? I was up in litchfield and the docks were on dry land and the ramp was a mess due to the water level
