if you ever make it to Texas i recommend Galveston Bay fishing, i caught my first shark when i was 10 on a charter trip, some others i have caught over the years Bull Red, Black Drum, black tip and bull shark red snapper, sea trout, ribbon fish and flounder.

Nice man I just went out on a charter about a month ago and caught my PB. Caught a few undersize fish but 10min before we had to head home I caught a nice bait fish. I hooked him on and let him swim around the reef but no luck only just as we were about to leave I hooked a massive Cod which really brought the fight. best fish i've ever caught. Was alot of fun too.

Cattle call boats are the worst! Bad rigs with just straight down fishing. Some boats let you bring your own rigs and you can get some cheap top water lure, but the best are boars you can rent with a group of friends. You should have Livingston hook you up with some salt water stuff.

Trevor Smith did you get the ticket while on the water or on land? I've talked to a couple game wardens and they've all said it's hard to prove a person was fishing gear in fed waters unless they catch them while their out there keeping the snapper or if the person has a gps, they look at its history to see where you went. I would fight it if I were you...

I've been questioned a lot since I'll bring in limits of 10lb snapper out of fed season, haha (port Mansfield and the PINS hold the monster red snappers in state waters, especially during the winter).

Trevor Smith 3 day season in fed waters. it's year round in Texas state waters and if you know where to go, you can find 10lb+ snapper consistently within the 9nm (I live in texas). our kingfish average bigger than most of Florida's little ones (that's something to brag about).

If you want to get a decent rod for that kind of fishing which makes an enourmous difference is a penn squall 12, Daiwa Lexa, Shimano curado 300, or a Daiwa seagate and a tsunami trophy jigging rod in medium heavy with 30 pound Daiwa j braid in multi color. Let's you feel the bites better and let's you fight the fish not the gear. And it's way way lighter which helps you fish all day

You should put a GoPro on the end of the line and send it down to the bottom of the ocean. It would be risky, but it would also be cool!

when i was 12 i caught 48 fish including grey snapper ,grouper, spanish mackerel , and i caught a cobia but my grandpa and cousin was apart of those catches lol

Really wish i was able to join you in Clearwater! Moving to Tampa in June, can't wait to get down there and get some Fishin on! <3 your videos brother, keep em up! Should do a tackle video. What you use, what test, what jigs, and lures, and actual gear. Would love to see a good mix of what to buy for Fishing in the ocean. (i know charters provide gear, but would be nice to know what to get ahead of time for some adventures) Look forward to more videos man!

Come up to Maine/New Hampshire! I go out on a 12 hr trip with a boat called the yellow bird. Overtime I have been out, between 2 people, we always bring back 40lbs of cod, haddock, and pollock fillets! Its awesome! You get a lot of fish up to 30lbs. You always have the chance for a 50lb cod or a 250+lb halibut. Ive even fought a shark almost to the boat that grabbed my fish. Like a 6+ foot blue shark. Its awesome! But seriously, come up to Maine!!!!

when u sat down to eat a burger i thought it was over then checked the timeline and still more to go :) dont know why but this video was really entartaining maybe cuz it remind me of fishing in the ocean, wich i have done only 2 times from a boat! But loads of fishes is allways fun even if they are not giants!
