It's interesting how your channel covers 2 completely different countries at the same time with Basti in England. I reckon not many channels do that.

During the summer it's Pollock, Wrasse, Mackerel, Ling, Coalfish, Reef Cod, Conger and Rays, and on the South of England and around Ireland there are Blue Sharks. Porbeagle Sharks are found North West Scotland, as are Common Skate which can weigh over 200LB.
Very much a mixed bag over here. It's pretty tough going at times depending on the weather conditions. I have only been Fishing 2 years and there are a load of species i still have to catch.
Recently caught huge Cod off the shore which was great.
It can be a steep learning curve when you lose a load of tackle but i feel i have learned so much in such a short space of time. I now have a double room at home just dedicated to my Fishing gear. I'm sure we are all the same when it comes to buying loads of Rods Reels etc Ha Ha. It's an addiction but a good and healthy one. I can't get enough of it. Between Fishing and keeping Snakes and other Reptiles, and working nights in a Whisky Distillery, life is full on.
