We were changing water to remove waste, so media wasn't needed, but if we had had it, it would have added a little bit of safety.

One thing i learned traveling to shows is to bring reynolds plastic wrap for wrapping buckets or cooler tops. That stops them from spilling in your car

Hey bro one question, so I bough this tank that was previously use for salt water it had a canister filter, however I ma use it for a fresh water tank my question is do I have to clean everything out of the canister filter or can I use the media that it had seince is was cycled?

Alejandro marquez there really is no safe way to do it but if you want to help jumpstart the bacteria production the only product you should use is Tetra safe start

Could anyone help me out. Looking to buy a tank with the dimensions of 24"L x 24"W x 18"H (inch's). Is this a strange dimension or something can't even find a single one online. But i think these dimensions would be perfect.

I live in Michigan and Chicago is about a six hour drive from where I live. I would have came but I have pretty bad car sickness, and I don’t have enough tanks for all the fish I would impulse buy.

+larry miller I don’t run any chemical filtration in my Aquarium’s. Plants essentially do that for me. I’m not sure specifically how chemical pure will interact with the easy green but it may remove it

I had to keep fish in containers last week when the peppered corys I ordered where swapped out for Synodontis multis. I did the same with air pumps, and did water changes twice a day until I could find a pet store to take them. I had no room for a tank that could support them.
I'm not really sure how whoever shipped the fish got little round gray and black fish confused with long, big, black and white with tall fins fish.
And the corys were $2 and the synos were $30 each.

Years ago, when my (now ex) husband got out of the military, I traveled from Texas to Michigan with a 10" shubunkin in a 20 gallon aquarium...we put it in the front seat floorboard of the U-Haul, and left the canister filter in place while we traveled. At night we got a back room in a motel and ran an extension cord to our room :D (We also traveled with 2 dogs, a cat, and 2 infant to toddler children...in two vehicles...wasn't the most relaxing trip of my life...)

Good thing they don't charge you power at any hotel I have stayed at. Imagine the room service person walking into a normally cool 72 that is now 92 and humid with the hair dryer on the counter going all out with a note "The room heater just wasn't enough!"
