I like those powerbait craws and I’ve used them a lot. They have great action and look real nice in the water but I’ve never caught a fish on one so I hope you have better luck. You really got some nice stuff for twenty bucks. The Walmart’s here never have deals like that and I mean never. Big daddy is a damn big daddy

Went to Ollie’s last night, it was bad, haha. We got a bunch of new things to try. I never would have thought to look there, thanks for the heads up. For some reason our Walmart’s here in pa don’t seem to run sales like yours in the south. I see lots of guys post $1 soft plastics on sale we don’t get that. Maybe they ship ours down to you guys since your season is longer.

That silver minnow you got is an old tried and true bait I have caught a lot of multi species fish on ,, any lake with pickerel it’s killer especially with a stop and go slow retrieve

As an amateur, you need to get as far away from that Omni Flex as possible. It is nearly unfishable, and will hinder you more than help. Both Trilene XT and Stren are cheap and light years ahead of the Omni.

Me and my buddy just scored in the Walmart clearance bin the other day... 3 dollar packs of yamamoto senkos and strike king rage craws (i bought every pack about 5 of each) also some Rapala DT 6/rattle traps/and a couple Zara spooks for 2.50 a piece. I guess it was just lucky timing but man that was heaven for a budget college student like myself :P

It does but then its still over priced. I picked up a packet of Gary Yamamoto senkos for $7 (R80.00) on special. It normally sells for R 170.00, about $14. Still a great sport.

Nice vid man! Price is why nrands like Yum and Zoom are my staples. Less than $3 for packs of lures that just flat work. Crankbaits are really the only thing I will spend significant money on. My kayak fishing bud over at fishyaker, John Oast, uses the $1.00 spinnerbaits from Walmart and catches smallies on the river without a problem. Inexpensive does not mean bad.

When I went to Walmart I got a strike king jig (2$) 3 havoc pit boss (1$ each) a strike king 5xd (6$) 2 fishing lines 15 lb test 500yds (89 cents EACH) strike king watermelon sticks (2$) and some eagle claw hooks and bullet weights, gotta love oxnard California man

Check out ebay for some good deals on hooks.They are bulk from china but i gave them a try and they work great.They are like $4-5 for 100 of them.Makes it alot nicer when you always have to worry about getting hung up.Plus when u have bum friends that makes them awesome to let them use.

Realistic Fishing sometimes it has some memory, it if you soak it in hot tap water for a few minutes and soak the spool down with silicone spray it gets LIMP. The silicone will break the line down over time, but mine doesn't stay on long enough for that to be a problem.

I'm telling ya those crazy legs chigger craws are the deal. Just Texas rigged with a bullet weight is my secret weapon, you can swim them really nice actually and I've gotten ALOT of my bites on it Shhhh. Tho don't tell no one it's a secret lol.
