That must be a geothermal pond staying warm year round. There are quite a few of those in Utah, Wyoming & Idaho. Most are on private land.

I knew that there were bass, tilapia, and bluegill in blue lake but I never would of guessed that there were ciclids, way cool!

Hunter Lewis yeah, but I only caught one bluegill and it was the first fish I caught. Didn't see another one all day.

I'm going to have to say that splake and brooks and tiger are my most favorited species of fish but if I have to pick one it would probably be splake.

I've been fishing blue lake for six years now, those giraffe cichlids are new. Unfortunately, all of those cichlids have destroyed how the lake was when I first started fishing there. Used to catch an 8+ inch tilapia or bluegill almost every cast. I wish the fish and game could do something about the cichlids and all the Wendover people dumping their pets in the lake.

But, if you're there in the morning and evening, the bass fishing in the main lake can be decent. The bass population hasn't been destroyed yet.
