I went right back to the marsh in Freeport to finish exploring what it had to offer. I caught so many rat reds that I literally lost count. Fighting them on light action gear kept it fun and exciting the entire day. And then out of nowhere in a deep pool I get a very strong tug. depends where i'm at. In the marsh I bounce it off the bottom back to the kayak. In a deep channel i swim it back to the kayak twitching it to a cadence like a swimbait.

concentrate on the deep pools (4-7'). When the water warms up I'm hoping to see them feeding along the bank.

MDLR Fishing nothing but rat reds. I usually go to the drains that dump into the ICW. And fishing along the shores on the ICW. Tide was super low maybe if it was higher would’ve had better luck. When the water warms up it should get better!

hope they work out for you. What I really love about them is that you don't have to move them after casting if theres moving water. The splash gets their attention and the rabbit fur does it's thing. Next you twitch it after a good 30 second wait and they nail it when it moves. It's happened several times now. Love these lures!
