Time to bust all these misconceptions. These aren't pumpkinseeds, they are missing the signature green body and red spots and pumpkinseeds have small 'ears' not long ones. The second fish also isn't a redear sunfish, redears have small mouths and a bland colored body. Bream and perch are a nickname the southerners call sunfish and sunfish are a type of panfish. They aren't bluegill either, bluegill are another species of sunfish. If you really wanna know the species of these fish read my earlier comments.

Hey, I'm not sure what kind of lens you have but you should consider a polarized filter for your fishing. Just like your sunglasses it should remove a lot of the overcast so we can see more of the fish :)

If the front of your lens rotates when you focus then don't bother, it won't work well.

It's astonishing how many people on YouTube give the wrong names for fish....
You caught 2 Longear Sunfish, 1 Green Sunfish and 1 Redeye Bass (at that size you can distinguish redeyes from spotted bass because the redeye bass has much redder eyes (which yours had), and spotted bass juveniles have a distinct spot on the base of the tail fin, with bright orange/red patches above and below it (which yours didn't have)).

You are right. But since you are not using a pack every time you go fishing, they are almost always cheaper than worms. Each of the baits will often last into the hundreds of catches.

Anyone who said pumpkinseed is obviously wrong. I have found proof they are longear for sure. Pumpkinseed sunfish don't live anywhere near the Chattahoochee river system he fishes at, just search up a range map of the sunfish and you will see.

Steven Fields no pumpkin seed were caught, they were long ear sunfish. Long ear sunifh have a long black ear with white surrounding it and normally have a redih/orange colour with blue markings. Pumpkin seeds have smaller ears and don't have the same, redish/orange main colouration. They are quite similar species but these were indeed long ears not pumpkinseeds.

They aren't pumpkinseeds. I catch those all the time. Pumpkinseeds have small 'ears' on the tips of their gills but longears have much larger ones.

Hey you need to go after some creekfish/mini hybridbass i was at my local creek and just messing around and we used bread caught two georgia runners and a little hybrid bass try it with those lures
