I'm guessing it'll either be loot in shipwrecks or loot in buried treasure. But there will definitely be a way by the release of 1.13. Unless tridents go the way of the Illusioner and get fully implemented, but never generated... which would suck...

Starting to love the update!

Hopefully it won't break too many of my farms in my world. Even though I know it'll break my guardian farm for sure, I guess it's an opportunity to make a much more efficient one somewhere else.

I like the new phantom texture, but it reeeealy doesn't feel minecrafty. At least the old texture fit with the game. I think we need a third texture that is like a combination of the two. :\

First, I´m not nostalgic at all, specially with redstone because I´m a recent player and MC looked like crap in the early days. Second, Notch could´ve wanted fish, but he was always was an advocate for the "blocky" look of MC. Fish, dolphin, turtles, flying manta rays, whatever shit can happen but the textures looks like modded MC

Who will be first to open a jungle aquarium pet shop. Do you know if they plan to use the coral to craft the coral blocks? I really like that they thought of the murky water for the swamps. Now for more fruit trees and assorted plants. I also think there should be a potion that uses the poison potato.

Those map markers are an excellent little huge change, especially being toggleable. I'm a hundred times more likely to use maps now and label all the towns and POI on vanilla servers just like on spigot or modded servers.

They said they're not adding sharks, but they also said they are adding a hostile ocean mob. Most people are thinking it'll be a kraken, but so far no one is sure.

I love the buried treasure map idea, it makes exploring more useful for late game survival. (In 1.12 and before, exploring wasn't worth the risk.)

Dustin Tolle It's always risky because there are monsters, but if you can find interesting blocks or items, it may be worth it to explore the world, even if you can die from monsters.

I think Mojang should add more of those little adventures where you have to do something to find/get your loot. Maybe something like a puzzle where there's an almost finished nether portal (in the overworld) and when you complete the portal and go through the portal to the nether, a chest will spawn with some nether loot (quartz, gold, glowstone, coal, bones, and if you're very lucky: a wither skeleton skull).
