Don't think you'll have much trouble getting the green water little fish food n sun most people r trying to get rid of green water but you want it for the fry I guess u think it's better for them water doesn't have to be green to have lots of organisms an u should add sum plants either way

If you run the submersible UV light on filter, the water will never turn green, no matter how much fish food you throw. They are cheap on amazon too.

Lots of light, and nutrients. If you can seed from another source of green water that helps. Otherwise just have lots of nitrogen and light.

You can use mosquito dunks which is a bacterial block you put in that'll kill mosquitos. But I Just net them out and feed them to fish. Once fish are in there, they will eat them all.

This is great! but what would be interesting is to cut out part of the sides and install some plexiglass with clear caulking on the inside. so one could get a side view of dem fishies.
