They are white perch, there are no white bass in Delaware. Delaware however does have white bass x striped bass hybrids in Lums Pond only.

That part of the Delaware River is brackish water right now, in the early summer it becomes saltwater as the salt line moves north on the river with warmer water. You can catch catfish from that pier all year round.
